Meet Our Rising Star

Ms Anshika Seth: A Curious Mind, Global Learner & Future Physicist-Economist

Our alumna, Ms Anshika Seth, who recently graduated from CMS Cambridge Gomti Nagar Extension Campus, is all set to join the prestigious Brown University in the United States with a scholarship offer of $1,20,000 (INR 1.06 Cr) where she plans to pursue a double degree in Physics and Economics. We could not be more thrilled and prouder of this remarkable achievement.

Anshika has distinguished herself through an exceptional blend of academic excellence, scientific curiosity, leadership and global exposure. Her academic record reflects her sincere efforts, dedication and intellectual ability.

  • In the 2024 IGCSE examinations, she achieved an outstanding 6 A* and 1 A grade.
  • At the AS Level Cambridge Examination in 2025, she further secured 3 A+ and 1 A grades.
  • She also earned an impressive score of 1540/1600 on the SAT, earning 790 marks in Mathematics and 750 marks in English.

However, Anshika’s journey extends far beyond academic achievements. Driven by a keen interest in science, technology and innovation, she actively explored opportunities to apply her learning beyond the classroom. Among her notable projects was the design and development of a CubeSat, along with a three-week internship at IIT Kanpur.

Her passion for research and engineering also took her to the international stage. Anshika was selected as the only Indian delegate to attend a Summer Research School in Bulgaria, where she gained valuable exposure to an international research environment. She subsequently worked with her teammates on the design of an ionocraft, a project that was selected as a global finalist in a competition in Japan, giving the team the opportunity to travel to Japan for the final round.

In another international competition featuring participants from more than 30 nations, Anshika helped engineer a scaled-down model of the Atlas V rocket. Her team went on to secure first place, adding another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accomplishments.

Alongside her academic and scientific pursuits, Anshika embraced opportunities to lead and inspire others at CMS. She served as a House Captain, President of the Biden AI Club, and ultimately as President of the Senior Student Council. These leadership roles enabled her to address large audiences, organise events, lead teams and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds—experiences she considers among the most valuable lessons she will carry with her to university and beyond.

Anshika’s journey is a wonderful example of how academic excellence can go hand in hand with curiosity, exploration and leadership. Her story encourages students to look beyond the classroom, embrace opportunities, pursue the things they are passionate about and discover the many possibilities within themselves.

As she begins this exciting new chapter at Brown University, Anshika carries with her not only an impressive academic record, but also the confidence, curiosity and global perspective nurtured during her years at CMS.

We congratulate her on this remarkable achievement and wish her every success in all her future endeavours!
