Environmental Interventions
“Cambridge learners take responsibility for the global community, developing essential environmental stewardship through campus initiatives.”
Incorporating environmental education into the Cambridge curriculum empowers our students to become informed and active participants in addressing climate change – one of the most pressing issues of our time. Environmental initiatives like Van Mahotsav (tree plantation), paper recycling, classroom debates & discussions on global issues, ‘save energy’ campaigns, campus cleaning & beautification, etc. encourage students to explore the complexities of climate change, develop critical thinking skills, and devise innovative solutions. Through research, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, students delve into the science behind climate change, its impact on our world, and the actions needed to create a sustainable future.
Participating in these activities broadens their understanding of environmental issues and cultivates essential skills, like teamwork, communication, leadership, etc., transforming them into aware, responsible and globally responsible citizens. It reflects our commitment to nurturing a generation that is equipped and inspired to tackle the challenges of a changing world.
