Sardar Surjit Singh Azad is a distinguished Sikh community leader and social worker associated with the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC). He is serving as the Vice Chairman of Gurdwara Shri Bangla Sahib, New Delhi, one of the most revered Sikh shrines in India. He has been actively involved in promoting Sikh values, community welfare, religious service (sewa), and the management of religious, educational, and charitable initiatives undertaken by the Gurdwara and the DSGMC. He has also been associated with heritage and museum-related initiatives at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.
