Event Laugh Lines for Equality is an offline creative poetry competition where Grade 5 students compose and recite a limerick that reflects values of fairness, respect, unity and gender equality—using humour and rhythm to convey a meaningful message.

“Laugh Lines for Equality” – Limerick Writing & Recital

Event Rules:

  1. Each participant must write one original limerick
    (5 lines only).
  2. The rhyme scheme must be AABBA.
  3. Time limit for recitation: 1:00 to 1:30 minutes.
  4. Limerick must be self-composed.
  5. Language should be simple, positive and appropriate.
  6. No offensive or derogatory content is allowed.
  7. A printed copy of the limerick must be submitted to the judges.
  8. Participants should mention only the name and school code, not the school name.
