Poetry Recitation

Category: Primary Section (V – VI)

Event Rules:

1. Each team will be represented by one participant only.
2. The poem must be an original piece of work and written in English.
3. The title of the poem must be clearly stated. The duration should not exceed 2 minutes.
4. Any form of plagiarism or explicit content in the poem will result in immediate disqualification.
5. The decision of the jury will be final and binding.

Evaluation Parameters:

1. Theme of the Poetry: 10 points
2. Voice Modulation and Articulation: 10 points
3. Gesture and Body Language: 10 points
4. Time Limit: 10 points
