Mrs C. Indumathy, IAS (2012 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre), is a distinguished administrator from Poolampatti village near Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Inspired by the film Vijayanthi IPS, she cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in her fifth attempt, securing All India Rank 151. A gold medallist in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from K.L.N. Her career achievements include serving as District Magistrate & Collector in districts like Fatehpur and Sultanpur, Chief Development Officer in multiple districts, Director of Women Welfare, Director of National Rural Livelihood Mission, and Director of Minority Welfare. She has driven initiatives in rural development, women’s empowerment, livelihood programs, and minority welfare, focusing on grassroots governance and inclusive growth.
