Event: Tableau
Description:
Tableau, meaning “living picture,” is a French term used to describe a group of suitably costumed actors, carefully posed and often theatrically lit. During the display, the actors remain completely still and silent.
Event Rules:
- Each tableau can consist of 10-15 participants.
- Background narration or music may be used to enhance the performance.
- The group will be given 3 minutes to settle and take their positions and must stay frozen for 2 minutes.
- Multimedia usage for added effects is not allowed.
- Any movement on stage will result in disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
