Event: Tableau

Description:
Tableau, meaning “living picture,” is a French term used to describe a group of suitably costumed actors, carefully posed and often theatrically lit. During the display, the actors remain completely still and silent.

Event Rules:

  1. Each tableau can consist of 10-15 participants.
  2. Background narration or music may be used to enhance the performance.
  3. The group will be given 3 minutes to settle and take their positions and must stay frozen for 2 minutes.
  4. Multimedia usage for added effects is not allowed.
  5. Any movement on stage will result in disqualification.
  6. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Evaluation Parameters:

  1. Message: 10 points
  2. Costumes: 10 points
  3. Presentation: 10 points
  4. Adherence to Theme: 10 points
