Shri Bhikkhu Gyanlok leads the Buddha Vihara, the Lucknow centre of the Maha Bodhi Society of India, where he upholds the teachings and values of Buddhism, i.e., peace, mindfulness, and compassion. He plays a key role in cultivating spiritual sanctuaries and educational outreach within one of Lucknow’s foremost Buddhist institutions.

A dedicated advocate of interfaith dialogue, Bhikkhu Gyanlok has represented Buddhism at numerous forums, including City Montessori School’s Annual International Interfaith Conference. At the observance of the UN’s International Day of Peace 2024, he delivered an inspiring address on unity through forgiveness, compassion, and shared ethical values, urging broader spiritual collaboration. Additionally, he is regularly involved in conducting meditation workshops, group teachings, and community welfare programmes, fostering mindfulness and collective harmony grounded in Buddhist wisdom.
