A seasoned educationist, writer, and interfaith advocate, Dr Anil Sarwal has over forty years of experience in teaching English Language and Literature. He has served as Associate Professor of English at DAV College, Chandigarh, for three decades. An expert in English language teaching and training, he continues to consult for IDP and Oxford University Press. He has authored over 200 articles and two books, ‘Miracles in Religion’ and ‘Reflections’ (poetry). His academic contributions include roles on the Panjab University Academic Council and as vice president of ELTAI’s Chandigarh Chapter.

A devoted member of the Bahá’í Faith, Dr Sarwal is the former General Secretary of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of India and currently chairs the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Chandigarh and the Interfaith Forum, Chandigarh. He has travelled to over 25 countries promoting peace, moral education, and interfaith harmony through conferences, lectures, and social outreach. His lifelong commitment to dialogue, education, and unity continues to inspire diverse communities.
