Brahmarishi Dr Mohanji is a globally revered spiritual leader, humanitarian, and founder of the Mohanji Foundation.
Born in 1965 in Kerala, India, he transitioned from a successful 24-year corporate career in the shipping industry to a life of selfless service following personal tragedies, including the loss of his daughter Ammu. He was conferred the title Brahmarishi by Avadhoota Nadananda in 2016 and has received an Honorary Doctorate from PAHER University, Udaipur (2024), along with numerous awards such as the Global Voice of Compassion (2025), Sivananda Humanitarian Award, and BRICS Global Compassion Ambassador recognition.
Through the Mohanji Foundation (headquartered in Switzerland, active in over 90 countries) and platforms like Ammucare Charitable Trust (ACT) and ACT Foundation (founded in 2003), he has pioneered humanitarian initiatives including hunger relief, healthcare, education, women’s empowerment, animal welfare, and environmental projects, serving millions via food distribution, vegan advocacy, and consciousness-raising programs. His teachings emphasise “Be You,” ahimsa (non-violence), and humanity as the highest religion, transcending barriers of faith, caste, and nationality.
