City Montessori School (CMS) Gomti Nagar Extension has been awarded 2nd best campus in sports for giving in numerable medals in Sports Achievements and Activities. IAYP Program
Campus offers the International Award for Young People (IAYP), providing students with a unique opportunity to engage in a holistic development program. The IAYP program helps students build essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and confidence through activities like skill development, physical challenges, community service, and adventure. Students can participate at three levels – Bronze (14+), Silver (15+), and Gold (16+), with the Gold level requiring a residential project.

Meher Singh Khosla of Grade X brought laurels to the School in the Zonals at Colvin Taluqdar, Lucknow by winning the runner up Trophy on 4th May 2024 . He played at the States Level at St. Peters college, Agra and bagged the runner up position in the singles and emerged the winner in team event held on 5th-7th August,2024.
The unstoppable Meher then played the Nationals in Kolkata, where he won the 3rd position in the singles. The tournament was held from 30th September-4th October 2024. For this stupendous achievement of his the school management had presented him with a cheque of ₹ 2000/- as he has been selected in SGFI.
National Sports Day
Despite the rain, the sportsman spirit at CMS Gomti Nagar Extension shone brightly during the National Sports Day celebration, which was an exhilarating success from start to finish. The day kicked off with a disciplined and vibrant March Past, where students proudly displayed their teamwork and unity.
This was followed by the hoisting of the school flag and the symbolic Lighting of the Torch ceremony, a moment that fueled the competitive spirit of the event. We were honored to have Mrs. Aruna Gupta, Head of CMS Student Welfare and Sports, as our chief guest. Her inspiring words motivated everyone to strive for excellence.
The day unfolded with an array of activities, including fun races and relays that perfectly captured the essence of sportsmanship. The highlight was the Yoga performance, promoting balance and focus, while the fun races brought joy and laughter to both participants and spectators. In the athletic events, students showcased their skills in various sports, competing with intensity and fairness.
Each event reflected their dedication, training, and teamwork. The celebration not only highlighted the talents of our students but also strengthened the sense of community and camaraderie, making it a day to remember for everyone involved.
