AI and Robotics Labs Shaping Future Innovators

AI and Robotics Labs: Shaping Future Innovators

The AI and Robotics Labs at City Montessori School (CMS) provide a cutting-edge, hands-on learning environment that aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. These labs bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application, fostering 21st-century skills such as problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity.

Hands-On Learning with Real-World Applications

Students at CMS actively design, build, and program robots, developing expertise in both hardware and software through project-based learning. They gain proficiency in programming languages like Scratch, Python, and C++, alongside learning about data patterns, model building, and AI-driven recommendation systems to understand AI’s impact on daily life.

Building Future-Ready Skills

  • Computational Thinking: Developing structured problem-solving approaches essential for AI and robotics.
  • Programming Proficiency: Learning multiple programming languages to create AI-driven applications.
  • AI and Machine Learning Concepts: Understanding recommendation systems and AI decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Engaging in team projects to develop communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Achievements in Robotics Competitions

Our students have excelled in the prestigious CISCE Interschool Robotics Championship, organized in collaboration with the Technology Innovation Hub, IIT Delhi. The competition brought together young robotics enthusiasts from across the country. CMS proudly recognizes Akshat Bariyar, Vidhi Gupta, Prakhya Yadav, Aishwarya Sharma, and Karan Singh (all from 9I) for their outstanding performance, where they were selected from 25 school participants to represent their institution.

Preparing Students for STEM Careers

By incorporating AI and Robotics Labs, CMS ensures that students become active innovators equipped with essential technical and analytical skills for the evolving job market. The labs provide exposure to industry-standard tools and practices, helping students build a strong foundation in STEM fields and preparing them for careers in technology, engineering, and artificial intelligence.

Aligning with NEP 2020’s Vision

These labs reflect NEP 2020’s emphasis on technology-integrated education, ensuring that students develop expertise in coding, AI, creativity, and critical thinking from an early age. This immersive learning experience empowers students to become future-ready professionals, contributing meaningfully to the global technology landscape.
