Rhapsody of Rhymes (Poem Recitation & Enactment)
Theme: Nature’s Symphony
Guidelines:
- It is an online event.
- Participants may choose classic, contemporary or original poems.
- The poem must be in English.
- The poem should be memorised (no reading from paper or devices).
- Participants should bring the poem to life through gestures, expressions, and movements.
- Props and costumes may be used to enhance the performance, but they should be simple and appropriate (School uniform is not allowed).
- A balance between recitation and enactment is crucial to avoid overacting or under-emphasising the words.
- The enactment and recitation must be recorded as a short film or video with a maximum duration of three minutes.
