ISC Board Exam Results 2026: 1683 CMS Students Score Above 90% in Class 12, 42 Secure 99% and Above

City Montessori School (CMS), Lucknow, has once again achieved exceptional results in the ISC (Class 12) Board Examinations 2026, with students delivering an outstanding academic performance across Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.

This year, 3,099 CMS students appeared for the ISC Board Examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Of these, 1,683 students secured 90% and above aggregate mark, accounting for 54.3% of all candidates who took the exam in 2026. Further, 647 students scored 95% and above, and 276 students secured 97% and above aggregate marks, while a total of 141 students achieved 98% and above aggregate mark.

Notably, 42 CMS students scored 99% and above aggregate mark in the ISC Board Examinations 2026, securing top national positions (AIR 2, 3, 4, and 5) and bringing distinction to both CMS and the city of Lucknow. Additionally, 635 students achieved a perfect score of 100 in one or more subjects, reflecting strong conceptual understanding, academic consistency and subject mastery.

ISC National Rank Holders Lead Outstanding Performance

Leading the CMS ISC achievers were Osheen Agrawal, Sanskriti Chandel, Zainab Fatima and Chhavi Mishra, who each secured 99.75%, emerging among the top national rank holders in the country.

Osheen Agrawal is a student of CMS Mahanagar Campus; Sanskriti Chandel belongs to CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I; Zainab Fatima is from CMS Aliganj Campus; while Chhavi Mishra is a student of CMS Kanpur Road Campus.

Students securing 99.50% included Arya Dwivedi, Bhanu Prakash Verma, Shivpriya Pathak, Aditya Tripathi, Advit Dhaon, Aarna Bajpai, Sonya Arora, Hansika Jaggi and Vailace.

Other students scoring 99% and above included Siddharth Karan, Arikta Singh, Arjun Agarwal, Dhruv Bajpai, Kopal Saxena, Radhika Agrawal, Rishi Raj Shukla, Sandarbh Mishra, Shrot Garg, Utkarsh Singh, Vibhor Srivastava, Pranjal Pandey, Avya Dubey, Pranav Upadhyay, Shaurya Agarwal, Kaavya Bisht, Aleeya Fatima, Ashutosh Pratap Singh, Rishith Raj Raizada, Varalika Yadav, Vinamra Tandon, Vallabhi Agnihotri, Vidisha Singh, Vipin Yadav, Yahvi Mohan, Shakti Malhotra, Yashraj Rawat and Aadya Yadav.

Lucknow resonated with cheers and applause as the entire CMS family, led by CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, came together for a grand Victory March celebrating the exceptional performance of students in the ISC Board Exam 2026. Ms Reena Soti (Head – Quality Assurance and Innovation Department) also marched alongside the CMS administrators, campus principals, educators, students, and parents.

The spirited procession started near Makhdoompur Police Station with the ISC achievers waving at the onlookers and marching with pride & enthusiasm towards the CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus. The event marked a joyful celebration of years of perseverance, disciplined preparation, and academic commitment, culminating in outstanding Board Exam Results 2026.

Our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Alok Kumar (Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development & NRI Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh), honoured students who secured outstanding scores in the ISC Board Examinations 2026, and also their parents. Commending their perseverance, discipline, and commitment to excellence, he reminded students—

“Life is not a 100-meter sprint; it is a marathon. Board exams were the first sprint. There’s a long way to go. So, never slow down or become complacent because there’s a lot to be done.” 

Encouraging every learner present, he further remarked—

“Those who are sitting in the back don’t feel disheartened that you are not on the stage. There will be an occasion when you will also be on the stage.”

He also congratulated the girls for bringing pride to their families and acknowledged the invaluable role played by parents and educators in shaping every student’s academic journey. His inspiring words left a lasting impact on the audience, motivating Class 12 students to move ahead with confidence, perseverance, and purpose.

Continuing the cherished tradition envisioned by our revered CMS Founder, late Jagdish Gandhi, the CMS management paid heartfelt tribute to the parents and educators — the guiding forces behind every student’s achievement. In a touching gesture of gratitude, mothers of the ISC 2026 toppers were weighed in fruits and flowers; fathers were honoured with shawls; and teacher guardians were felicitated with flowers in recognition of their unwavering support and dedication.

At the ceremony, 13 ISC students who secured national positions with scores of 99.75% and 99.50% were awarded cash prizes of ₹1 lakh each in recognition of their outstanding achievement. In addition, 29 ISC students who scored above 99% received cash awards of ₹21,000 each. Overall, CMS distributed cash awards worth ₹28 lakh to meritorious students who delivered exceptional board examination results.

Taking the opportunity to acknowledge the collective effort behind students’ success, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the parents, principals, teachers and teacher-guardians whose constant encouragement, guidance, and dedication have played an instrumental role in shaping students’ achievements and holistic growth.

Prof. Kingdon spoke about the lasting impact of mentorship in a child’s educational journey. She emphasised that parents serve as a child’s first teachers, shaping their values, character, and outlook towards life, while educators play an equally vital role in nurturing and guiding students during their formative years.

Highlighting the rapidly changing global and educational landscape, she stressed the importance of continuously reimagining education through innovation and meaningful reform. She also shared with the Chief Guest and parents the various progressive initiatives being implemented at CMS, including Jai Jagat Sections, competency-based evaluations, AI-enabled academic insights in report cards, and ongoing advancements in infrastructure and curriculum design. These initiatives, she noted, have significantly contributed to students’ consistent school attendance, holistic development, and outstanding academic performance.
