ISC Board Exam Results 2026: 1683 CMS Students Score above 90%, High Performance Across Cohort

Continuing its longstanding legacy of academic distinction, City Montessori School, Lucknow (CMS) once again recorded exceptional outcomes in the ISC (Class 12) Board Examination 2026, with 1683 of 3099 students scoring 90% and above aggregate marks. Out of these, 42 students achieved top national ranks (AIR 2, 3, 4, and 5) and high aggregate marks (99% and above) across CMS campuses.

Among the cohort:
- 1683 out of 3099 CMS students who took the ISC board exam 2026 (i.e., 54.3% of all ISC takers) scored 90% and above
- 647 of the ISC board exam 2026 toppers (i.e., 20.9% of all ISC takers) scored an aggregate mark above 95%
- 147 students (i.e. 4.5% of all takers) scored aggregate marks above 98%
In the 2026 CISCE board results, a total of 3709 students scored 90% and above, indicating consistent academic performance across ICSE (class 10) and ISC (class 12) sections. In addition to the 1683 ISC exemplars, 2026 meritorious students scored 90% or more in grade 10 board exams. These exceptional results reaffirm CMS’s commitment towards upholding high academic standards in board exams.

CMS Exemplars Participated in a Spirited Victory March Celebrating Outstanding ISC Board Results

Lucknow resonated with cheers and applause as the entire CMS family, led by CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi and CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, came together for a grand Victory March celebrating the exceptional performance of Class 12 students in the ISC Board Exam 2026. Ms Reena Soti (Head – Quality Assurance and Innovation Department) also marched alongside the CMS administrators, campus principals, educators, students, and parents.


The spirited procession started near Makhdoompur Police Station with the ICSE and ISC exemplars waving at the onlookers and marching with pride & enthusiasm towards the CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus. The event marked a joyful celebration of years of perseverance, disciplined preparation, and academic commitment, culminating in outstanding ISC Board Exam Results.
Chief Guest, Shri Alok Kumar, IAS, Honoured the ISC Board Toppers in a Grand Felicitation Ceremony


In a grand felicitation ceremony, the esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Alok Kumar (Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure & Industrial Development & NRI Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh), honoured students who secured outstanding scores in the ICSE Board Examinations. Commending their perseverance, discipline, and commitment to excellence, he reminded students and also their parents, “Life is not a 100-meter sprint; it is a marathon. Board exams were the first sprint. There’s a long way to go. So, never slow down or become complacent because there’s a lot to be done.” Encouraging every learner present, he further remarked, “Those who are sitting in the back don’t feel disheartened that you are not on the stage. There will be an occasion when you will also be on the stage.”
He also congratulated the girls for bringing pride to their families and acknowledged the invaluable role played by parents and educators in shaping the students’ academic journey. His inspiring words left a lasting impact on the audience, motivating students to move ahead with confidence, perseverance, and purpose.


Continuing the cherished tradition envisioned by the revered Founder, the late Jagdish Gandhi, the CMS management paid heartfelt tribute to the parents and educators — the guiding forces behind every student’s achievement. In a touching gesture of gratitude, mothers of the ISC toppers were weighed in fruits and flowers, fathers were honoured with shawls, and teacher guardians were felicitated with flowers in recognition of their unwavering support and dedication.
The students were presented with medals and garlands, while AIR holders received cheques of ₹1 lakh each and students scoring above 90% were awarded cheques of ₹21,000 in recognition of their exceptional accomplishment.

Taking the opportunity to acknowledge the collective effort behind the students’ success, CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the parents, teachers, teacher-guardians, and administrators whose constant encouragement, guidance, and dedication have played an instrumental role in shaping the students’ achievements and holistic growth.
Prof. Kingdon spoke about the lasting impact of mentorship in a child’s educational journey. She emphasised that parents serve as a child’s first teachers, shaping their values, character, and outlook towards life, while school educators play an equally vital role in nurturing and guiding students during their formative years.
Highlighting the rapidly changing global and educational landscape, she stressed the importance of continuously reimagining education through innovation and meaningful reform. She also shared with the Chief Guest and parents the various progressive initiatives being implemented at CMS, including Jai Jagat Sections, competency-based evaluations, AI-enabled academic insights in report cards, and ongoing advancements in infrastructure and curriculum design. These initiatives, she noted, have significantly contributed to students’ consistent school attendance, holistic development, and outstanding academic performance.
