Inspiring Words by our Guest of Honour

Guest of Honour, Dr Pramod Singh, Executive in Residence, Engineering Graduate and Professional Programs, Duke University, USA, joined the ceremony in honouring the 35 subject toppers of the CMS ISC Comparative Examination 2026, presenting them with medals and certificates in recognition of their academic excellence. Addressing the students, Dr Singh drew upon over 25 years of global leadership in analytics, artificial intelligence and data science to emphasise that AI should be viewed as a tool to augment human capability rather than replace critical thinking. He encouraged students to use AI responsibly to analyse real-world challenges, develop practical solutions and create positive societal impact. Stressing the importance of ethics, curiosity and continuous learning, he urged young people to combine technological proficiency with sound judgement, creativity and a strong sense of purpose as they prepare for future careers.
Words of Encouragement from the CMS Leadership
Addressing the gathering, Dr Bharti Gandhi, Founder-Director of City Montessori School, reminded students that education is not measured by academic success alone but by the character, compassion and sense of responsibility it instils. She encouraged them to contribute towards building a peaceful and harmonious society. Congratulating the award recipients, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Managing Director, commended the dedication of students, parents and teachers, urging students to pursue excellence in character alongside excellence in academics.
Beyond Academic Recognition
Complementing the celebration of academic achievement, the ceremony also featured vibrant cultural performances by CMS students. Interactive career guidance sessions on STEM, Artificial Intelligence and future careers further reinforced CMS’s commitment to preparing students for higher education, emerging professions and responsible global citizenship.

The CMS Career Counselling Cell further delivered insightful sessions on emerging opportunities in Next-Generation STEM, Artificial Intelligence and Future Careers, along with inspiring student success stories. The interactive sessions encouraged students to explore evolving career pathways and prepare confidently for a rapidly changing global landscape.
Overall, the Meritorious Students’ Felicitation Ceremony 2026 reflected City Montessori School’s enduring belief that academic achievement deserves recognition, encouragement and celebration. By honouring outstanding performers while simultaneously exposing students to emerging opportunities in higher education, technology and global careers, CMS reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing scholars who are intellectually accomplished, ethically grounded and prepared to contribute meaningfully to society.
