CMS celebrates a moment of exceptional pride as three of its distinguished alumni made Lucknow proud by qualifying the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Nancy Singh, an accomplished student of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, secured an impressive 34th rank and has been selected for the prestigious Indian Administrative Service. Adding to this, the Yogendra Kumar of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I secured an admirable AIR 286 and Priyasha Verma of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I achieved 324th rank.

CMS consistently encourages its students to pursue excellence in prestigious fields such as the IAS, engineering, medicine and other competitive examinations. Each year, numerous CMS students achieve notable success and bring distinction and honour to the institution.

UPSC 2025 Selections: CMS School Alumni Shine Bright!

UPSC Civil Services 2025 selections saw five CMS alumni shine, securing top All India Ranks and bringing pride to their alma mater. Mr Aman Tiwari, Mr Prashant Singh, Ms Devanshi Saxena, Mr Rajat Singh, and Ms Anushree Sachan emerged as distinguished achievers in the UPSC 2024 examination (results declared in 2025), reaffirming CMS’s legacy of nurturing future leaders and civil servants.

Their success highlights the school’s enduring role in fostering academic excellence, visionary leadership, and a deep-rooted ethos of service. They’re the cornerstones of the CMS philosophy.

These exceptional achievers represent various CMS campuses across Lucknow:

  • Aman Tiwari (AIR 74) – CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I
    Known for his perseverance and clarity of purpose, Aman credits CMS’s holistic educational environment for his foundation in leadership.
  • Prashant Singh (AIR 102) – CMS Aliganj Campus I
    “It was CMS that sowed the seeds of my aspiration for high achievement,” says Prashant, a Delhi University graduate.
  • Devanshi Saxena (AIR 124) – CMS Mahanagar Campus
    A post graduate from IIT Gandhinagar who also holds a graduate degree in Sociology from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi.
  • Rajat Singh (AIR 132) – CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I
    An IIT Roorkee alumnus, Rajat overcame the odds in his fourth attempt with the help of CMS’s discipline-driven academic ethos.
  • Anushree Sachan (AIR 220) – CMS Kanpur Road Campus
    Anushree, a B.Tech. graduate from IIT Mumbai, shared, “The CMS curriculum nurtures excellence and discipline — essential for preparing for the IAS.”

Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Manager of CMS, shared:

She thanked CMS teachers for their pivotal role in preparing students to thrive well beyond school.
