Established in 1964, City Montessori School, RDSO Campus has flourished under the dedicated leadership of Principal Mrs Jyotsna Atul, nurturing generations of students through CMS’s philosophy of Human, Divine and Material Education. The campus is committed to creating an environment where every child is encouraged to explore, innovate and evolve into a confident, compassionate and responsible global citizen.
At CMS RDSO, holistic development goes hand in hand with academic achievement. The campus offers engaging learning experiences from the Pre-Primary level, where story enactment, music and dance make learning enjoyable. Initiatives such as remedial classes, home visits and the teacher-guardian system strengthen the bond between teachers, students and parents. Annual events including Sports Day, Parents Day and Art Exhibitions further enrich campus life.
The campus also provides students with opportunities to excel in sports and co-curricular pursuits. Diljot Singh earned a Bronze Medal in the Kumite Under-70 Category at the Sub Junior, Cadet and Junior State Karate Championship held in Lucknow. The campus’s commitment to global engagement is reflected in its flagship events, including SPARDHA – International Sports Olympiad, which brings together young talent and promotes sportsmanship, interaction and international exchange. During the pandemic, CMS RDSO successfully conducted international events online, demonstrating its ability to embrace virtual platforms and continue meaningful global engagement.
Academic excellence remains a defining strength of CMS RDSO. The 2025–26 Board Examination results recorded a 100% First Division success rate, with Vailace achieving an outstanding 99.5% in the ISC Examination and earning the distinction of Second National Topper. Komal Meena secured 98.8% in the ICSE Examination, emerging as the campus topper. Students have also excelled in competitive examinations, with Shikhar Raj Saxena securing admission to IIT Roorkee through JEE Advanced, Yasharth Shukla earning a seat at IIT Dhanbad, and Daksh Chowdhry gaining admission to B.Tech. Marine Engineering at Tolani Maritime Institute.
The legacy of CMS RDSO extends beyond the campus through its distinguished alumni. Among them are Sumit Gulwani, renowned Computer Scientist and Innovator at Microsoft; Mujtaba Khan, associated with the Investigation Bureau (IB); Shikhar Chaudhary, an accomplished IPS Officer; Saurabh Mohan, scientist at ISRO; Shreyansh Trivedi, a celebrated Paralympic medal winner; Menka Soni, the first Indian American woman elected to the Redmond City Council; and Akshat Baranwal, featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list.
