For CMS alumnus Shivansh Anand, excellence has been shaped not just by academic achievements but also by the ability to understand how to learn.

A student of City Montessori School from Classes 8 to 10, Shivansh credits his CMS journey with helping him develop a strong foundation in learning, conceptual understanding and effective examination skills.

His academic journey reflects this foundation. He secured an impressive 99.4% in the ICSE Class 10 Board Examination and later scored 98% in the CBSE Class 12 Board Examination. Taking his aspirations further, Shivansh appeared for NEET 2026, securing an All India Rank of 152 with a score of 687 out of 720.Reflecting on his CMS experience, Shivansh highlights the importance of learning to articulate knowledge effectively, while also acknowledging the personal guidance and encouragement he received from his teachers.

Beyond academics, Shivansh says the values of ‘Jai Jagat’ and ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ have helped shape his perspective towards the world. He also fondly recalls the vision of our founder, Late Dr Jagdish Gandhi, and his commitment to promoting world unity.

Shivansh is now set to pursue BDS at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi, with an ambitious vision for the future of dentistry in India.

His journey stands as a reflection of the CMS spirit—academic excellence, lifelong learning and values that extend beyond the classroom.
