Campus History

Established in 1981 under Principal Ms. Poonam Parmar, the Jopling Road campus of City Montessori School has a proud history of nurturing young minds. Ms. Parmar’s dedication created a warm, secure environment focused on academic and character development.

In 1989, Mrs. Usha Francis, an esteemed administrator, took over, setting high standards for academic and spiritual growth until her retirement in 2003. Her impactful leadership left a lasting legacy.
From 2003 to 2018, Mrs. Manju Nautiyal led with vision and grace, inspiring teachers and earning the admiration of students and parents. Her tenure fostered strong relationships and a culture of excellence.

Ms. Roli Tripathi succeeded Mrs. Nautiyal in 2018, guiding the campus through a significant transition to new facilities with enhanced infrastructure. Her brief tenure was a pivotal moment in the campus’s evolution.

In 2019, Mrs. Shipra Upadhyay introduced innovative strategies, focusing on education and skill development. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she enhanced the campus’s adaptability and embraced technological advancements. Her commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected in the lush green spaces she cultivated.

As of 2024, with Mrs. Upadhyay’s move to Head of Capacity Building, Ms. Sonali Chowdhury has taken over as Headmistress. The campus anticipates continued growth and development under her leadership, aiming to create an even more dynamic learning environment.
