City Montessori School (CMS) has once again achieved a record-breaking success in the JEE (Advanced) 2026 examination, with 58 meritorious students qualifying in one of India’s most challenging engineering entrance examinations. By securing All India Ranks within the top 31,000, these students have paved the way for admission to some of the country’s most prestigious engineering institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

 JEE (Advanced) 2026 Performance Highlights – CMS Students who Secured Top Ranks
The performance of CMS students in JEE (Advanced) 2026 has been exceptional:

- 35 students secured ranks within the Top 10,000, including open and reserved category candidates
- 46 students secured ranks within the Top 20,000, including open and reserved category candidates
- 51 students secured ranks within the Top 25,000, including open and reserved category candidates
Our students’ strong performance in JEE (Advanced) 2026 reflects the strong academic foundation and competitive examination preparedness fostered across CMS campuses.
Last year, a total of 43 students qualified for the JEE (Advanced) Exam. Out of these, 34 CMS students secured ranks within the top 25,000, while 15 ranked within the top 10,000. Notably, 8 students achieved All India Ranks below 5,000.
JEE (Advanced) 2026: National Overview
The JEE (Advanced) 2026 examination was conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee. According to the official data released by the institute, out of 1,87,389 registered candidates, 1,79,694 aspirants appeared for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 examinations conducted on May 17, 2026 (The Hindu, 1 June 2026).

CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also congratulated the students and described the results as a reflection of the effectiveness of CMS’s modern and progressive educational approach. She highlighted that all CMS campuses run a specialised Jai Jagat (JJ) Section, which provides focused academic preparation for highly competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET while nurturing confidence, discipline and a spirit of excellence among students, and this year 16 CMS students who underwent the JJ Section training qualified for the JEE Advanced 2026.
