The Jai Jagat Section at CMS is an intensive academic initiative in collaboration with Scholars Den, a Moradabad-based student preparation organisation. It stands as a pioneering model in school-integrated competitive exam readiness. The initiative is closely guided by Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Manager, CMS, and Mr Vivek Thakur, Managing Director of Scholars Den and alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, whose combined leadership ensures structured academic planning and effective implementation.

The teaching framework of the Jai Jagat Section has been thoughtfully designed to build a strong academic foundation for competitive exams as well as higher education. It aims to develop the following competencies:
- Conceptual Rigour: Ensuring CMS students firmly grasp core concepts (fundamentals that are crucial for success) in competitive assessments
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Training learners to decode complex questions and arrive at accurate solutions with confidence
- Time and Strategy Management: Cultivating efficiency, speed and accuracy, the three critical elements for elevating students’ performance in time-bound exam formats
Why Jai Jagat Section?
In an era where academic achievement alone is no longer sufficient, City Montessori School believes that schools must proactively equip students with the techniques, discipline, and resilience required to excel in competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE, NEET, and other entrance tests. With NCERT textbooks prescribed for PCMB subjects in Grades XI-XII and a larger number of teaching periods compared to the regular Science (ISC) sections, students benefit from enhanced curriculum exposure and sustained concept-building.

Mock exams, held every three weeks and modelled precisely on the pattern and scoring format of JEE (online) and NEET (offline), provide students with realistic competitive exam exposure to be prepared to perform under pressure.
Interactive, personalised expert sessions, organised for both students and teachers every month, provide insights into evolving question styles, preparation strategies, and national-level exam trends.
