Nature has designed the universe in numbers, purposefully weaving geometry, dimensions, patterns, and equations into its fabric. Even time is measured in numbers. It is thus evident that mathematics is both pervasive and inescapable. The International Young Mathematicians’ Convention (IYMC), organised by City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, serves as a global platform for aspiring learners, encouraging the understanding and application of mathematics in real-life contexts.

When mathematics is viewed merely as another subject in school, the idea diminishes the vital role this discipline plays in shaping a child’s personality. Above all, it cultivates problem-solving ability, a critically important skill essential in everyday life. Mathematics nurtures reasoning, logic, and analytical thinking, the very foundation of sound decision-making.
