(INDIVIDUAL CONTEST) – JUNIOR & SENIOR LEVEL
As Pythagoras may have said (Ambition)2 + (Bold)2 = (Critical Thinker)2, makes a perfect student, and that is what we strive to chisel out through our competition entitled Mathwiz. Thus, the challenging and gripping nature of mathematical problems allows students to apply knowledge, approach things logically, think critically and finally emerge as a true Mathwiz.
RULES:
1) This competition will be held both at the Junior Level as well as the Senior Level.
2) Both the Junior as well as the Senior team will be represented by three participants each.
3) Each participant will take this test individually.
4) A participant is expected to solve 8 short-answer questions in ARABIC numerals in the allocated 90 minutes.
5) Each question carries 10 points, with a maximum total of 80 points.
6) No partial credits will be given. There are no penalties for incorrect answers, but you must not give more than the number of answers being asked for. For questions asking for several answers, full credit will be given only if all answers are found correct.
