“Without mathematics, there is nothing you can do. Everything around you is mathematics. Everything around you is numbers.” 

With these words of Shakuntala Devi, I congratulate Gomti Nagar Campus I of City Montessori School for organising another edition of a meaningful event, the 10th International Young Mathematicians’ Convention- IYMC Mathematica 2025. 

Mathematics as an expression of the human mind reflects the active will, the contemplative reason, and the desire for aesthetic perfection. Its basic elements are logic and intuition, analysis and construction, generality, and individuality. Besides creating an aware younger generation, it instils a new sense of vigour and vitality in them. 

We at CMS realise that the world of modern mathematics is rich with vivid images and proactive ideas. Thus, with a multitude of innovative competitions and events, the Convention aims at breaking down the mass of indecipherable equations and simplifying incomprehensible concepts. 

I appreciate the relentless efforts of the Principal of CMS, Gomti Nagar Campus I and her resolute staff members for motivating the young generation through the Convention and making the event a stupendous success year after year. May the 10th IYMC Mathematica 2025 be not just an event but a catalyst for fostering learning and lifelong friendships.
