Founder, Adiv and the Temple Dye Project, Mumbai

Ms Rupa Trivedi is a Mumbai-based textile innovator who revitalised the ancient Indian art of natural dyeing through her visionary initiative, Adiv, a sustainable social initiative of urban artisans. Seamlessly blending spirituality, sustainability, and tradition, she pioneered the Temple Dye Project, which transforms sacred, discarded temple flowers into natural dyes, imbuing each fabric with vibrant colours and cultural essence.

Her creations are acclaimed at global platforms such as the Venice Biennale, Triennale di Milano, and the Rubin Museum (NYC). Her growing influence has drawn esteemed collaborators, including Christina Kim (Dosa), Eileen Fisher, WomenWeave, and Asif Sheikh, into her creative circle, affirming her stature as a compelling force in contemporary Indian craft.
