Haji Syed Salman Chishty, born on 9 March 1982, hails from the esteemed Syed o Saddat and Chishty Sufi lineage of Ajmer Sharif. A direct descendant of the Holy Prophet, Hz. Syedna Mohammed through his grandson Hz. Syedna Imam Hussain (A.S.) represents an unbroken 800-year legacy of spiritual stewardship.

As the 26th-generation Gaddi Nashin (Hereditary Custodian) of the Blessed Dargah Ajmer Sharif, the revered 11th-century Sufi shrine of Hz. Khawaja Moinudeen Hasan Chishty (R.A.) upholds its tradition as a global centre of peace, unity, and compassion.

Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, he actively promotes Sufi values, interfaith harmony, and humanitarian service. He is widely respected for his efforts in preserving the spiritual ethos of Ajmer Sharif while engaging with contemporary global dialogues on peace and harmony.
