Shaping Future-Ready Classrooms: CMS Teachers Embrace AI for Education with a Purpose
A glimpse of technology integration in CMS classrooms
In the rapidly evolving landscape of 21st-century learning, the infusion of artificial intelligence has transformed how education is designed and delivered. To remain ahead of the curve, teachers today must continuously refine their pedagogical practices and digital competencies. At City Montessori School (CMS), this need is addressed through comprehensive and continuous teacher training programmes focused on AI literacy, ethical use of technology, innovative lesson design, assessment creation, and classroom integration of digital tools. These structured trainings empower educators to harness AI meaningfully – enhancing critical thinking, creativity, and global awareness, leading to global citizenship among students while ensuring that technology remains aligned with human values, empathy, and purpose-driven learning.
CMS Teachers Lead the Way in AI-Driven Education
For the participating teachers, the journey was as transformative as the recognition itself.
Ms Ruchi Mishra from CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I reflects that innovation in teaching begins with the courage to keep learning. The experience has inspired her to blend AI with creativity to design more meaningful learning experiences.
For Ms Subhi Pande, the coordinator of nursery and Montessori grades, the Olympiad offered clarity and confidence. Exploring the role of AI in education equipped her with practical strategies to make learning more engaging and future-ready, even for the youngest learners.
While discussing the importance of AI in schools, several educators highlighted that meaningful implementation requires consistent institutional support. Ms Deeksha Negi Pandey described the International AI for Innovative Teaching Olympiad as deeply enriching, crediting regular AI training and guidance from CMS management for strengthening her foundation and enabling her to compete internationally. Securing a Top-200 position, she says, has motivated her to integrate AI more thoughtfully into daily classroom practices.
Echoing this sentiment, Mr Mohd Sufiyan Khan shared that this experience enhanced his conceptual understanding and inspired him to adopt AI-driven approaches that make learning more effective and engaging. Ms Shipra Pandey described her journey as transformative, noting that sustained training and encouragement empowered her to confidently perform on a global platform.
Together, these voices mirror CMS’s ‘Broader and Bolder’ educational philosophy, where empowered teachers lead innovation – using technology not as an end, but as a bridge to deeper, more purposeful learning. City Montessori School congratulates all achievers of the International AI for Innovative Teaching Olympiad and wishes them luck for their future endeavours.
