Honourable Ms Justice Tamar Oqropiridze serves as Judge of the Supreme Court of Georgia, appointed in December 2021 after an extensive career in the Georgian judiciary. She began her judicial service at Tbilisi City Court, working in the administrative division from 2015 to 2021, handling cases related to public administration, governance, and human rights. Justice Oqropiridze earned her law degree from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and successfully completed the national judicial qualification process in 2014–2015. Before joining the bench, she held various legal roles within the public sector, contributing to the development of administrative justice and legal reforms in Georgia. Known for her analytical rigor and integrity, she actively supports judicial transparency and fundamental rights protection, aligning her work with Georgia’s ongoing judicial modernisation and European integration efforts.
