CMS Vishwa Voice is a dynamic students’ radio broadcast created by the students of City Montessori School (CMS) to promote world unity and peace. This engaging program airs live from the CMS Community Radio Station at the Kanpur Road Campus, reflecting the visionary guidance of Dr. Bharti Gandhi, the Founder Director of CMS.
Coordinated by Mr. Harsh Bawa, the Coordinator of CMS Community Radio, CMS Vishwa Voice has successfully adapted to the challenges posed by the pandemic by implementing a distance recording system. This innovative approach ensures the seamless production and broadcast of the program. The collaboration of radio coordinators from various campuses, along with high-quality contributions from CMS students, enriches the content of CMS Vishwa Voice.
Advisory Committee of CMS Vishwa Voice
The advisory committee includes prominent figures such as Dr. Bharti Gandhi (Chief Patron), Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon (Chief Patron), Mrs. Susmita Ghose (Patron), and other distinguished members. Their guidance, along with the support of Mr. R K Singh, HOD Multimedia, plays a crucial role in making it a leading platform for information, education, and communication.
Broadcast Schedule and Key Features
Programs are broadcasted every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM from the Kanpur Road studio. The program features notable personalities, including the Mayor of Lucknow City, Sanyukta Bhaatia, G20 Brand Ambassador of Uttar Pradesh Government, former Squadron Leader Mountaineer Tulika Rani, and Municipal Commissioner of Lucknow, Inderjit Singh IAS. It also covers significant events such as the International Conference of Chief Justices of the World and the CMS Lucknow International Children’s Film Festival, with participation from Bollywood celebrities.
The broadcast engages parents, especially grandparents, and provides a platform for principals and teachers from all CMS campuses to share their achievements. Inspirational messages from Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the founder manager of CMS, has been a regular highlight. A popular segment, “Teacher’s Talk,” features discussions by various teachers on special days, festivals, environmental issues, health topics, and other activities from CMS campuses.
The widespread appeal of CMS Vishwa Voice is evident from its growing popularity. Complementing the broadcast, a monthly e-letter is published and circulated in soft copy, providing information about previous programs and upcoming events.
