Annual Report by CMS Manager

Dear Parents,

It gives me great pleasure to present before you CMS Annual Report 2024-25 of the institution and recount some of the major achievements of the school during the academic session 2024-25.

The school which started in 1959 with a mere strength of five students and a borrowed capital of ₹ 300, has grown to around 63,000 students on roll and is registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest school in the world in a single city. The school has been awarded the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education 2002.

Academic Achievements

ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2024:

CMS students recorded unprecedented success in the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations 2024, with 74 students securing 99% to 99.80% marks. Each of these 74 students received a prize of Rupees one lakh from the CMS management.

In ISC (Class XII), Kanishka Mittal, Sariya Khan, and Archita Singh created history, each securing 99.75% aggregate marks. Similarly, in ICSE (Class X), Chandransh Rai secured 99.80% aggregate marks. The ISC and ICSE Board results confirmed CMS as a frontrunner in imparting quality education.

This year, 6818 CMS students appeared for the ISC and ICSE Board Examinations. Out of these:

  • 3791 students (55.6%) secured aggregate marks between 90% and 99.80%

  • 1409 students (20.70%) secured above 95% marks

Additionally:

  • 17 students secured between 99% and 99.75% in the ISC (Class XII) Board Examinations

  • 59 students secured between 99% and 99.80% in the ICSE (Class X) Board Examination

CMS Cambridge Section Results – 2024

The CMS Cambridge Section at Gomti Nagar Extension achieved outstanding results in the IGCSE (Class X) and A-Level (Class XII) 2024 Board Exams of The University of Cambridge’s school exam board.

IGCSE (Class X) Results:

  • Total Achievements: 48 A* and 57 A grades

  • Top Performers:

Prestigious Admissions & Scholarships

  • Ananya Choudhary, Head Girl of CMS Aliganj Campus I, has achieved an extraordinary milestone in her academic journey.

  • She has secured admission to Harvard University, a prestigious Ivy League institution in the United States.

  • Scholarship Details:

    • 100% Scholarship covering her entire 4-year undergraduate course in Law.

    • The scholarship amounts to US $ 3,58,080 (approximately INR 2.9 crore).

CMS Alumnus on a Journey to Space

  • Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, a distinguished alumnus of CMS Aliganj Campus I, is set to embark on ISRO’s first manned space mission aboard an Indian spacecraft.

  • He is also preparing to pilot the Axiom (AX-4) mission to the International Space Station (ISS) with NASA in Spring 2025.

Outstanding Achievements in Civil Services Examination

  • Aditya Srivastava, a CMS Alumnus from CMS Aliganj Campus I, topped the prestigious IAS Examination by securing the All India First Rank (AIR 1).

PCS 2023 Qualification (UPPSC)

Five CMS students — Ankur Gautam, Shubham Verma, Shambhavi Tripathi, Kaustubh Tripathi, and Yuktisha — successfully qualified the PCS 2023 Examination conducted by UPPSC.

Anju Yadav, Adil Ansari, Vyadisha Yadav, and Richa Chaudhary qualified for the PCS (J) Examination, achieving academic excellence.

NDA Exam (UPSC) Qualification

Tanishq Sonker, Anant Tripathi, Shashank Yadav, and Yash Vardhan Singh cleared the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination conducted by UPSC.

JEE Advanced 2024 Success

A total of 64 CMS students qualified JEE Advanced 2024, with Shreyansh Chaturvedi securing an AIR of 1103.

NEET 2024 Achievement

96 CMS students qualified NEET 2024, Akriti Singh topped with 701/720 marks, and 18 students scoring above the 99 percentile.

CMS Students Excel in National & International Examinations (2023-2024)

INSPIRE Scholarship Success

A total of 150 CMS students qualified for the prestigious INSPIRE Scholarship from the Government of India, awarded to those in the top 1% of the All India ISC Merit list. The scholarship offers ₹4 lakh per year for five years, amounting to ₹6 crore in total.

Advanced Placement Examination Success

7 CMS students achieved exceptional results in the Advanced Placement (AP) Examination conducted by College Board, USA.

  • Pranav Suri received the AP Scholar with Distinction Award.

  • Kolanuvada Jayashree earned the AP Scholar with Honour Award.

  • Kartikeya Chauhan, Kavya Agarwal, Manas Jindal, Samaira Parveen, and Aani Chopra received the AP Scholar Award.

These students will receive one-year fee waivers at US universities due to their academic excellence.

Global University Admissions & Scholarships

Around 81 CMS students received offers of admission from prestigious universities worldwide, including IVY League Universities, in USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Finland, and Netherlands. Of these, 62 CMS students secured scholarships for their studies abroad.

CA Final Examination Achievements

Four CMS studentsKaanha Agarwal, Anshika Jain, Bhuvnesh Rajpal, and Sarvagya Agarwal — qualified the prestigious CA Final Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

  • Kaanha Agarwal secured 3rd position in Lucknow, and

  • Anshika Jain secured 5th position in Lucknow.

CUET-UG 2024 Excellence

Harshita Tripathi

Harshita Tripathi of CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus scored 800 out of 800 marks in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG 2024), while 14 CMS students scored above 700 marks.
133 CMS students excelled in this prestigious examination, with 12 students scoring 100% marks in various subjects.

CLAT 2024 Achievement

58 CMS students successfully cracked the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

  • Shantanu Dwivedi of CMS Aliganj Campus topped the U.P. State Merit List and secured 8th rank on the All-India Merit List.

  • Two students advanced to Post-Graduate courses at Law University.

GATE 2024 Achievement

Prateek Agarwal of CMS Indira Nagar and Mahanagar Campuses secured 15th rank in the All India GATE 2024 Examination organised by the IIT.

B.Arch & B.Planning Success

Mohak S. Bisaria of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I was selected for B. Arch and B. Planning by cracking JEE Main Paper 2 with outstanding percentiles — 99.59 in B.Arch and 99.96 in B. Planning.

INSPIRE Manak Award Winners

Divyansh Agarwal, Suraj Panja, and Mohd Daniyal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I were awarded the INSPIRE Manak Award of ₹10,000 each by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
