Why the NEET UG 2026 Results Are Significant for CMS

The performance of CMS students in NEET UG 2026 is even more remarkable when viewed in the context of its national-level scale and competitiveness. Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG 2026, of whom approximately 11.21 lakh qualified. The examination also witnessed a higher qualifying cut-off, with only 138 candidates across India scoring 690 marks or above, while just over 10,000 candidates secured more than 600 marks. Qualified candidates are eligible for admission to undergraduate programmes in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other allied medical disciplines.

Against this backdrop, CMS students distinguished themselves with exceptional performances and impressive All India Ranks (AIRs).

  • Amol Sagar (Alumnus, CMS Mahanagar) emerged as the school’s highest scorer with 644/720, securing 99.90 percentile and AIR 1,927.
  • He was followed by Prashansha Tripathi (AIR 2,022), Surya Vikram Singh (AIR 2,423), Aakrati Srivastava (AIR 4,032), Anamika Yadav (AIR 9,290), Harshit Verma (AIR 12,359), Vidisha Singh (AIR 13,809), Shreya Verma (AIR 13810) and Daksh Gupta (AIR 16,046).
