CMS Got Talent – The Musical Extravaganza
Day 1 Report (15th April 2025)
The First Edition of CMS Got Talent, organised by CMS Station Road Campus, was held on 15th April 2025 at 10:00 AM at the WUCC Auditorium, CMS Kanpur Road. The event aimed to provide a dynamic platform for students across all CMS campuses to showcase their musical talents.
The Chief Guest was renowned singer and director Ms. Anupama Raag, a Yash Bharati Awardee (2016–17). The programme commenced with a Welcome followed by the School Prayer, setting a solemn and respectful tone.
Mr. Allen Masih, a distinguished judge, delivered an electrifying performance, energising the audience. He was followed by Mr. Shivam Mishra, whose soulful Indian musical act left a lasting impression. The All Religion Prayer and Prayer Dance beautifully conveyed CMS’s values of peace and unity.
Principal Mrs. Deepali Gautam delivered the Welcome Address, expressing gratitude to the management and highlighting music as a healing and unifying force. Ms. Anupama Raag, in her address, encouraged students to prioritise their careers while pursuing their passions with courage and balance.
The organisers conducted the Lighting of the Lamp and felicitated the Chief Guest and judges, then officially declared the competition open. RJ Prateek led an engaging and informative Self-Defence session that the audience warmly received.
Two major competitions—the Western Rock Band and Indian Band categories—followed. Student teams performed with creativity, coordination, and evident dedication, leaving the audience captivated.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, acknowledging all participants, teachers, team leaders, volunteers, and the organising committee for their unwavering support and efforts in making the event a resounding success.
Day 2 Report (16th April 2025)
CMS Station Road Campus held Day 2 of the First Edition of CMS Got Talent on 16th April 2025 at the WUCC Auditorium, CMS Kanpur Road Campus. Organised by CMS Station Road Campus, the day celebrated musical expression and youthful energy, beginning at 9:00 AM with an enthusiastic welcome that set a vibrant tone.
The programme opened with the School Prayer, followed by a soulful hymn sung by Class VI students. Their harmonious voices created a serene atmosphere, reflecting unity, discipline, and the spirit of CMS.
Judges were then introduced and warmly welcomed, their presence adding immense value and motivation for the participants. Esteemed judge Ms. Farah Naaz captivated the audience with a mesmerizing solo performance, setting a high musical standard for the day’s competitions.
The Western Solo Singing Competition began with the Junior category. Young singers impressed with their vocal range, confidence, and stage presence. The Senior category followed, showcasing refined talent and emotional depth, proving that age is no barrier to artistic expression.
Another judge, Ms. Ankita Kapoor, delivered a spellbinding solo presentation that left the audience awestruck. Her enchanting voice elevated the energy in the auditorium.
The spotlight then shifted to Indian music. The Indian Solo Singing (Junior) round highlighted grace, melody, and passion. The Senior category brought soulful and expressive performances that paid tribute to India’s rich musical heritage.
The presence of Shri Kamal Khan, a distinguished figure in the music industry, further uplifted the event’s spirit and significance.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, appreciating the judges, teachers, mentors, organising team, technical crew, and support staff. The organisers also recognised the audience for their enthusiasm and support.
Day 2 was more than a contest—it was a celebration of harmony, culture, and the unifying power of music.
Day 3 Report (17th April 2025)

The grand finale of CMS Got Talent on 17th April 2025 at WUCC Auditorium, Kanpur Road, celebrated talent and creativity, marking a spectacular end to the three-day event.
The event opened with a formal Welcome, followed by the School Prayer and Hymn sung by Class VIII students, setting a serene and respectful ambiance. The organisers introduced a panel of distinguished judges, raising anticipation among the audience.
The day began with the Solo Instrumental Competition (Junior Category), where young musicians stunned the audience with their rhythm and finesse. Esteemed judge Ms. Vaishnavi Sharma delivered a magical piano performance. The Senior Section followed, showcasing exceptional talent nurtured within CMS. Judge Mr. Tanmay Raj Mukherjee received thunderous applause for his mesmerising performance.
Acclaimed filmmaker and Filmfare Award winner Mr. Diwakar Bhattacharya, the Chief Guest, inspired the gathering with his motivating words. His presence elevated the event’s prestige. The Lighting of the Lamp and felicitation of the Chief Guest added ceremonial elegance.
Class VI students brought energy and emotion with an Aerobics Fusion and their touching performance, Beacon of Hope.
The much-awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony honoured winners from various categories, celebrating their creativity, effort, and confidence. Each award symbolised more than victory—it represented dedication and growth.
The final day concluded on a heartfelt note, expressing gratitude to CMS management, teachers, participants, volunteers, and the organising team for their tireless contributions. Special appreciation went to the social media ambassadors and supporting staff who captured and enabled every moment.
The organisers concluded the First Edition of CMS Got Talent not just as an event but by creating a cherished memory of music, dreams, and inspiration.
