City Montessori School, Station Road Campus, recently hosted an inspiring seminar on ‘Remote Sensing for Earth Observation’ at its Auditorium. Dr. Manoj Semwal, Senior Principal Scientist at CSIR-CIMAP, delivered an engaging lecture to Class IX and X students, sharing his expertise in using AI and machine learning with remote sensing data. He illuminated core principles, applications, and sensor types, captivating an audience keen on Science, Robotics, and AI. Ultimately, the seminar concluded with a Q&A session, enriching students’ knowledge of remote sensing and career paths. Moreover, it celebrated CMS alumnus Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s upcoming ISS visit. Principal Mrs. Deepali Gautam delivered the vote of thanks; Dr. Semwal presented her with a memento, marking an enriching experience.
