CITY MONTESSORI SCHOOL
Station Road Campus
The CMS mission is to create a better future for all children. We achieve this by maximising opportunities for children through holistic, values-based education of the highest quality and through initiatives that promote unity and meaningful social action for development.
PRINCIPAL'S DESK
The seeds of the essence of CMS education were sown here
"A teacher’s purpose is not to create students in her own image, but to develop students who can create their own image."
At CMS Station Road, the management team’s vision is to provide an enriching learning environment that allows children to fully develop their potential. Founded in 1959, CMS Station Road is the birthplace of CMS education, now flourishing into a network of 19 campuses.
As Principal, I am honored to continue this legacy with a dedicated team of staff. The campus is vibrant with the energy of eager minds, celebrating individualism, creativity, and innovation. Our students excel academically and in co-curricular activities, achieving top ISC and ICSE results and winning medals in various competitions.

ABOUT CAMPUS
City Montessori School Station Road, located near Charbagh railway station, is the original CMS campus, founded in 1959 with just five students. Over time, it has grown into a bustling hub of activity and education, laying the foundation for all other CMS campuses.
Known for producing outstanding writers and debaters, students here are well-prepared to address global challenges. Graduates include highly qualified professionals such as doctors, engineers, IT experts, and IAS officers working worldwide.
Under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Deepali Gautam, the campus has achieved excellent ISC and ICSE results and offers events like the International Youth Convention on Economics and Commerce (IYCCE), SUBAK taekwondo competition, CONCORD, KIDS BONANZA, and MENAGE. Dr. (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi, CMS’s Founder Director, was the campus's first Principal, guiding it from 1959 to 1974.
