CMS creates a better future for all children by maximising
their opportunities through quality education and initiatives for unity and development.
Students of various CMS campuses collectively contributed a sum of Rs. 4.5 lakh which was donated as charity equally to SPARC - India an NGO for the welfare of the disabled, and to the Animal Ashram, an NGO for helping beleaguered street animals. The collection made by CMS students for each charity on voluntary basis, was presented to the representatives from the two charity organisations by CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon. The CMS students are helping these two organisations in their noble cause for the past many years.

Sushant Bose, a brilliant student of Class VI CMS, Rajajipuram Campus I won first prize in a Science quiz competition conducted by Regional Science City, Lucknow, exalting the name of the school. This science quiz was based on 'Physics' wherein Sushant exhibited his outstanding knowledge of physics with argumentative skills, confidence and talent.
Omansh Sharma, student of Class IV, CMS, Anand Nagar Campus grabbed the limelight by winning the championship trophy at National Abacus Competition held in New Delhi. The competition was organized under the aegis of an educational institute - Brainobrain. This outstanding CMS student showcased his exemplary talent in various subjects, especially in mathematics among the state level toppers and emerged champion.
National Presentation of CISV mini-camp together with New Parents Evening of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II was held at the school auditorium on May 13. Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar, Ms Manjit Batra, said that CMS endeavours to spread World Unity and World Peace both at home and in school. Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Mrs Sangeeta Banerjee extended her heartfelt thanks to the parents for their continual support in all school activities.
A 24-member delegation of CMS, Kanpur Road Campus comprising 22 students and 2 teachers left for Bengaluru today on an educational excursion. During this educational tour, the CMS students will get a first-hand experience of the vastness and beauty of the most picturesque locations of the country besides visiting many places of tourist interest like Tipu's Palace, ISKCON Temple, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).
Khushi Saxena, a talented Class VIII student of CMS, Asharfabad Campus brought laurels for institution by securing gold medal in International Hindi Olympiad. The Olympiad was organized under the auspices of Humming Bird Education Pvt. Ltd.
Girls’ Final of CMS Inter-campus Basketball Championship, organized at Chowk Stadium, was played on May 5 between CMS Mahanagar Campus and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I. In a one-sided match, Mahanagar Campus defeated Gomti Nagar Campus I with 28-0 points, winning the championship in girls’ category. Ayushi and Sushmita of Mahanagar Campus earned 10 points and 8 points respectively for their team. Sports officer, Mr Azad Singh presented shield, medal and certificates to the winner and runner teams.
The final match for the senior category was played on 2nd May at Chowk Stadium between CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I and CMS Kanpur Road Campus. In this exciting match, both the teams displayed excellent coordination, moves and techniques, but none of the teams succeeded to make any goal till the end of the game. Therefore, tie-breaker was applied and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I won the match by 5-3 margin, winning the championship trophy of senior category.
At the inter-campus football tournament organized by CMS, at Chowk Stadium, the finals in the junior category were played on April 30. After a 1-1 score, goals being made by Raunak of CMS Gomti Nagar II and Abhi Singh of CMS Gomti Nagar I, the results had to be declared by a tie-breaker. In this, and CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I won by 4-1 winning the championship trophy in the junior category.
