Chowk Campus

About 200 students of Junior section participated in a cleanliness drive around the Clock Tower in Chowk. They presented a nukkad natak on responsibilities towards the environment. The occasion was graced by Mrs Samyukta Bhatia, Mayor of Lucknow.

At Model United Nations organized by CMS Aliganj Campus I, Sabika Zehra Abidi won the certificate of High Commendation, Malaika Mujib, Areesha Aslam and Syed Vilayat Ali Rizvi won certificates of Special Mention and Sheenam Jafar was awarded the Verbal Mention Certificate.

On 22nd April, the junior and primary students performed at Hazratganj Metro Station. The junior section kids staged a street play and yoga demonstration while the primary students sang beautifully the song “Hurray to the World”.

The campus team won the overall championship of the U-17 Boys Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament, Zone B held at LPS, Sahara State. The team comprised Prakhar Srivastava, Zain Haider, Shabzar, Tushika, Mohd Hasan, Vijit Rastogi, Aryan Singh, Krishna Gupta, Pawan Kumar, Brahmansh Nigam, Pranar Chaturvedi, Kartavya Jain, Mohd Sarin and Ritesh.

Aviral Gupta of Class I won the gold medal in Sub-Junior Boxing Championship organized by District Boxing Association, Lucknow.

Dhawal Shukla of Class II won the bronze medal in Taekwondo competition organized by Navyug Girls Inter College.

The campus team won the overall championship in Zone B yoga at the ASISC Meet organized by Seth MR Jaipuria School, Lucknow.

Mohd. Hasan won the Man of the Match award while Vijit Rastogi was awarded as the Best Bowler at 14th SP Sinha T20 Memorial U-15 Boys National Cricket Tournament held at Dehradun.

Aditi Shukla, Samiya Jafri, Shairen David, Mahima and Rohit Agarwal secured highest marks in different subjects in 2nd Comparative Examination. Aditi got highest marks in as many as five subjects and secured fifth rank among all campuses.

Indira Nagar Campus

Saksham Jaiswal of Class V and Kashvi of Class IV won the second and consolation prize respectively in the Mega Art contest organised by Regional Science Center on the Earth Day.

English Language Day was celebrated in the Primary assembly. The students were informed about the famous writer William Shakespeare. A tongue twister competition was also held for the students in which the teachers also participated.

To inculcate love and respect for fellow human beings, project 'Love All,Serve All' was undertaken by the students of pre primary section. The students brought food packets from home and distributed them in slum areas near Bhoothnath Market, Indira Nagar and Wave Mall, Gomti Nagar.

Aarav Maheshwari of Class V won a gold medal at the District level in Brain O'Brain competition.

On the occasion of Earth Day, Mega Art Contest was organized at Regional Science Centre, Lucknow. Saksham Jaiswal, V & Kashvi, IV won second and consolation prize respectively.

Sonangi Mohanty and Videh Jha of Class VIII secured the first and second rank respectively in the National level Science Talent Search Examination conducted by the Unified Council.

Arushi Pandey of Class VIII won the bronze medal in 500m in the All India National level Speed Skating Race Championship powered by Roller Skating Federation of India at Greater Noida.

The skating team of the campus won the overall championship in Open Inter-School Championship 2019 with 16 gold, 18 silver and 12 bronze medals. The championship was held at St. Francis School, Gomti Nagar branch.

A student of Class IX, Mohd. Saad Khan brought laurels to the school as one of his paintings featured in the ICS yearly calendar of 2019. The painting Saad made for the ICS International Painting Competition organized by Institute of Career Studies (ICS) had won the special mention prize.

Cambridge Section

As a step towards sensitization and developing empathy for women acid attack survivors, students of Class X and XI of CMS Cambridge Section visited Sheroes Hangout Café on 29th April, 2019. The purpose of this exercise was to develop respect for women and to help students understand that violence against women is heinous and cannot be justified under any circumstances.

Students interacted with 3 survivors, Rupali, Kavita and Jaya, who shared their stories with candour and dignity. The calmness with which they related the immense physical and mental torture they went through, showed their strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

The students were deeply affected by the experience and vowed never to let their emotions get out of control. They understood the repercussions of thoughtless actions and were motivated to help people who are the victims of such attacks. The trip undertaken has added to the moral and value education of the students.

Stuti gets first prize in Hindi Writing Competition

Stuti Shukla, a Class III student of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II has won the first prize of Hindi Writing Competition bringing laurels for the institution. The competition was organized under the aegis of Bhartiya Bhasha Pratishthapan Rashtriya Parishad, Uttar Pradesh.

Ananya becomes State Topper in drawing Olympiad

Ananya Mishra, a talented Class VI student of CMS, Kanpur Road Campus performed extremely well in the National Arts & Drawing Indian Talent Olympiad (NAITO) bringing laurels for the institution. In the second level of olympiad, she was declared the 'State Topper' attaining the first rank in Uttar Pradesh. She was awarded a medal, certificate of merit and a cash prize of Rs. 1000/- for her excellent performance.
