ICCJW 2025: A Warm Reception in Lucknow
The second day of the 26th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World unfolded in Lucknow with unmatched warmth as the CMS family welcomed eminent dignitaries from all four corners of the globe. On their way from Delhi to Lucknow, some of our guests visited Agra to witness the timeless splendour of the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Earlier in the morning, Honourable Dr Joshua Lincoln (Senior Fellow, Centre for International Law and Governance, Fletcher School of Global Affairs, Tufts University, USA) engaged senior CMS students in an intellectually stimulating session on global citizenship and the future of shared humanity. His session covered key topics like the responsibility of contributing to global solutions, space as a global commons and who should govern it, AI governance and the regulation of private actors, and the subtle yet powerful role algorithms play in shaping individual choices, encouraging the next generation to stay aware, engaged, and ethically grounded.
The celebrations continued in the evening, where our eminent dignitaries enjoyed vibrant cultural presentations by CMS students. Shri Brajesh Pathak, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, graced the Cultural Night, making it a memorable celebration of cultures, ideas and international harmony.
