Honourable Dr Joshua Lincoln is Senior Fellow (non-residential) at the Centre for International Law and Governance, Fletcher School of Global Affairs, Tufts University. From 2013 to 2019, he served as Secretary-General of the Bahá’í International Community, overseeing global external relations and engagement with governments, academia, and civil society. Earlier, his extensive UN career included senior roles in Geneva and New York, encompassing peacekeeping, preventive diplomacy, and mediation. A graduate of Georgetown University (BSFS) and Tufts University (MALD and PhD), he combines academic excellence with field experience across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
