ICCJW 2025: A Day Dedicated to Space, Science & Shared Responsibility

Day 4 of the 26th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World was dedicated to space, science and technology. Chief Guest Shri Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science & Technology, urged the eminent dignitaries from 51 countries to unite behind a shared vision to solve global challenges, particularly in emerging domains such as oceans, cyberspace and outer space. Distinguished guest and Indian Astronaut Shri Shubhanshu Shukla echoed the call for collective responsibility, reminding the world that the Earth is humanity’s only home and must be safeguarded with ethical leadership and scientific consciousness. Across parallel sessions, eminent speakers from South Sudan, Antigua & Barbuda, Kyrgyzstan, Haiti, Angola, the USA, Suriname, Bulgaria, Sweden and India deliberated on global governance, cybercrime, climate and health crises, judicial cooperation, and UN Charter reform, strengthening the collective resolve to secure a safe and peaceful future for 2.5 billion children worldwide. In the evening, the CMS management and the esteemed dignitaries visited the Chief Minister’s Residence for a dinner hosted by Shri Yogi Adityanath, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
