ICCJW 2025: History in the Making: Resolution for a Just, Peaceful & Safe World

The culmination session of the 26th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World witnessed the adoption of a powerful resolution calling upon Heads of States, Governments, the United Nations, and judiciaries worldwide to reform and strengthen global governance, uphold the Rule of Law, eliminate war and terrorism, accelerate climate action, and embed peace and global citizenship education in every nation.

Mr Ratan C. Gupta (General Secretary of CMS & ICCJW, Former Joint Secretary, Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Government of U.P., INDIA) moved the Draft Resolution before an august gathering of eminent dignitaries — a moment reflecting the collective resolve in the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, “the world is one family.”

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Smt Sushma Kharkwal, Hon’ble Mayor of Lucknow. She released the final resolution during the press conference, which symbolised the city’s pride in hosting this landmark dialogue for global peace and unity.

In the evening, our eminent delegates attended a wonderful cultural programme organised by CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I. Through thoughtfully curated music & dance performances, CMS students and teachers gracefully showcased the vibrant cultural diversity of India
