Honourable Ms Justice Goda Ambrasaite-Balyniene has served as a judge of the Supreme Court of Lithuania since 2019, bringing extensive judicial and academic expertise. A law graduate from Vilnius University with a Ph.D. from Mykolas Romeris University, she previously held roles as a judge at the Vilnius Regional Court and as a legal adviser to Lithuania’s appellate and administrative courts. Since 2004, she has taught law at Mykolas Romeris University, shaping future legal professionals. As Chairperson of the Judicial Court of Honor, she oversees judicial ethics, ensuring integrity within the judiciary. Justice Ambrasaite-Balyniene also contributes to international legal cooperation, focusing on intellectual property and EU judicial values, strengthening Lithuania’s legal framework and promoting ethical standards in a dynamic European context.
