Science Model Making: Crafting Sustainable Living Environments
The Science Model Making Competition gives senior students (Classes IX-XII) a chance to showcase their scientific creativity and environmental awareness. This year’s theme is “Communities in Harmony: Crafting Sustainable Living Environments.” Participants will create working models that highlight science and sustainability.

Science Model Making Rules
- Models must focus on science and the environment.
- Each model must be a working model.
- Two participants will form each team.
- Teams must bring all required parts and assemble the model on-site.
- Biodegradable and recycled materials are strongly encouraged.
- Each team will receive a 2’X4’ counter for presentation.
- Models must have a relevant title.
- Participants must explain their model and answer judge’s questions.
- A list of all materials used must be provided.
Evaluation Parameters
Judges will evaluate participants based on:
- Presentation of the model – 10 points
- Materials used – 10 points
- Concept explanation – 10 points
- Model effectiveness – 10 points
- Practicality and implementation – 10 points
