COFAS 2026 – Rules & Regulations

General Information

  1. COFAS 2026 is open to students in two categories:
    • Junior Category: Classes VII to IX (12–15 years)
    • Senior Category: Classes X to XII (16–19 years)
  2. Each participating school team must comprise:
    • 5 Senior students
    • 5 Junior students
    • 2 Team Leaders (Teachers)
  3. The Principal/Head of Institution of every participating school is cordially invited to attend the Inaugural Ceremony as a Special Guest of Honour.

Registration

  1. A registration form will be accepted only if it is complete in all respects and duly forwarded by the Head of the Institution.
  2. Every registered school will be allotted a unique School Code.
  3. Registration Fee:
    • International Teams: USD 25 per participant
    • National Teams: ₹1,500 per participant
    • There is no registration fee for the Principal or Team Leaders.
  4. Registration fees should be paid through a Demand Draft in favour of City Montessori School, Lucknow.

Accommodation & Travel

  1. Accommodation will be provided only to outstation and international teams, for a maximum of 10 student participants and 2 accompanying teachers per school.
  2. Outstation teams must submit complete travel details by 15th August 2026 to facilitate airport/railway station transfers.
  3. If any team arrives before 13th October 2026 or plans to stay beyond 16th October 2026, accommodation and other arrangements must be made by the team independently.
  4. Additional members, including parents, guardians and siblings, cannot be accommodated by the organisers.

Participation Guidelines

  1. All outstation teams must attend the Press Conference and Group Photograph on 13th October 2026 at 12:00 Noon and should plan their travel accordingly.
  2. Participating schools should carry their school flag for the Inaugural Ceremony.
  3. Outstation teams are not permitted to leave the campus during the competition days without prior permission from the organisers.
  4. Participants must bring all articles, props and equipment required for their respective competitions.
  5. Attendance at the Prayer Assembly is compulsory for all participating teams.
  6. Team Leaders must:
  • Ensure their team’s attendance is marked 20 minutes before the commencement of each event.
  • Remain with their team until the conclusion of all scheduled performances and events.
  1. Participants should wear their school uniform for all competitions unless a specific event requires a costume.

Submission Requirements

  1. The following materials must be submitted at the Registration Desk in a pen drive:
  • SOFTEK – Source Files
  • COSTEK – Audio/Multimedia Files
  • CTRL + ALT + DEL (Dramatics) – Multimedia Files
  • Beats & Strings – Track and Lyrics

Results & Judging

  1. Competition results will be announced during the Valedictory and Prize Distribution Ceremony on 16th October 2026.
  2. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
