Dear Sir/Madam,

It is our immense pleasure to invite you to the fourth colloquium of the City Montessori School Model United Nations which is to be held on July 18th and 19th, 2020. Over the past three editions, CMSMUN has witnessed an active participation of a plethora of students representing some of the best schools and colleges across the country. Also, it is one of the most premier school MUNs in the MUN circuit of Lucknow.

CMSMUN 2020 will mark the 4th year of our school’s continuous endeavours in engaging the youth of the nation in holistic change development and tackling situations arising in modern times. It will be hosting young minds, diverse in their ideas, in a beautiful thought mosaic built to bring a positive change in the world's present circumstances. This year’s conference will allow all delegates to participate in the simulations of various committees ranging from the United Nations General Assembly to Indian sessions like that of the Lok Sabha.

CMSMUN 2020 will also witness a wider space and scope for young people to talk freely about solutions by setting engaging agendas through the course of these two days.

As millennial youths, we are faced with challenges everyday but we must embrace the authority that comes along as being young is a colossal power in itself. We have been given the prodigious opportunity of making history and we must make use of it

We are and can be the sustainable generation. We are the weapons of peace and a catalyst in making our future resilient.

We are the hope and we are the change.

Every word has a consequence. Silence too!

About Us

City Montessori School is widely acknowledged as the paragon of producing citizens worthy of leading the future into a Utopian era. Established in 1959 by prominent educators Dr. Jagdish Gandhi and Dr Bharti Gandhi, this institution has cemented its reputation of providing a wholesome social,material and divine education.

60 years on, City Montessori School has 18 branches, over 56000 students and recognitions from eminent institutions like the United Nations, the Goi Peace Foundation, Education World magazine and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations. With eminent educators at the helm of the affairs, City Montessori School with the vision of its founders is directed towards the implementation of new projects, along with a global approach to the expanding boundaries of the world, which has placed it on the forefront of the educational map of India and the world.

We have tested the hypothesis that when a school provides a Broader, Bolder education founded upon spiritual principles and educates by it not only the students but also the parents and society at large, it becomes a lighthouse of society. In this new role, a school presents enormous new possibilities and has the power to transform individuals and society.

Among one of the most illustrious branches of CMS is the Gomti Nagar Campus I. A campus known for its incomparable academic performance, it's glowing extra-curricular record and its innovative way of bringing up children. The high standards are maintained by the use of innovative teaching methods and a result-oriented curriculum and evaluation system. We have been proud organizers of the international event IYMC-Mathmatica, International Young Mathematicians Convention for the eighth time in 2018 a contest that serves as a platform to bring like minds together, enabling students to initiate knowledge transfer and bridge gaps at the same time.

We at Gomti Nagar Campus I have long produced citizens that the world will be proud of. Under the able guidance of Ms Abha Anant, Principal of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, our branch has been recognised as an avant-garde institution, well able to impart world class education to the future leaders of the coming generation.
