Chief Convenor - 15th Celesta International

At City Montessori School, we have long held that education must transcend the mere transmission of knowledge and instead cultivate the capacity to think, create and act with purpose. In an era defined by rapid technological advancement and complex global challenges, this responsibility assumes even greater urgency.

The 15th Celesta International 2026, organised by CMS Aliganj Campus I, stands as a vibrant global platform where young minds express their talents through music, dance, art, photography and design. It is through such creative engagement that education finds its true purpose—not merely in knowledge acquisition, but in the cultivation of imagination, expression and innovation.

The vision underpinning this initiative is anchored in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the world is one family. It calls upon us to nurture learners who are not only intellectually sound but also empathetic, ethical and globally conscious. The integration of creativity, critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving is no longer aspirational; it is essential for meaningful participation in the 21st century.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, such platforms enable students to engage with real-world challenges through interdisciplinary inquiry and innovation. They learn to question, to design solutions, and to work collectively across boundaries—skills that will define leadership in the years ahead. Evidence from global research, including the World Economic Forum, consistently affirms that creative and analytical thinking are among the most critical competencies for the future workforce.

At CMS, we view such platforms not as isolated events but as integral to a larger educational vision—one that prepares students to lead with wisdom, empathy and courage. By fostering both artistic expression and intellectual rigour, we believe that when young minds are given the freedom to imagine and the tools to translate ideas into action, they become architects of a more just, peaceful and sustainable world as responsible global citizens.
