From the classrooms of CMS Aliganj Campus I to the world of Indian fashion, Manish Tripathi’s journey is a story of
creativity rooted in tradition.
A Delhi-based fashion designer and NIFT Delhi alumnus, Tripathi has earned national recognition for creating the
exquisite traditional attire worn by the Ram Lalla idol at the historic Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. Crafted
in indigenous handwoven silk in a distinctive golden hue, the ensemble reflects his deep connection with India’s rich
textile heritage and craftsmanship.
The creative force behind custom menswear label antarDESI and ethnic brand Naveli, Tripathi’s work extends across
fashion, cinema and international collaborations. A former National Advisor to the Ministry of Textiles, he has
designed for the Qatar Royal Family, contributed to Bollywood films, and collaborated on the design for an AXIOM
Space Mission batch.
