Infrastructure for Holistic Development of Students at CMS Asharfabad

The inauguration of Harmony Building marked an important step towards creating a more enriching learning environment for students. The new Harmony Building has been designed as a dedicated Activity Centre where students can discover their interests and develop their abilities beyond the classroom. It houses separate rooms for sports, dance and music, giving students space to explore their physical, creative and artistic talents.

Along with the Activity Centre, the new Robotics Lab and Chemistry Lab strengthen the school’s focus on science, technology and hands-on learning.

The Robotics Lab encourages students to explore technology, understand how things work and develop problem-solving skills.

Similarly, the Chemistry Lab gives them opportunities to observe scientific concepts in practice and learn through experiments.

These facilities will help connect classroom lessons with real-life experiences. By encouraging students to ask questions, experiment and find solutions, CMS Asharfabad aims to build scientific curiosity, technological innovation and experiential learning among students.

Learning Beyond Textbooks

The inauguration was also an opportunity for students to showcase their learning through a Project-Based Learning (PBL) exhibition. They presented a variety of scientific models and activities that helped parents understand CMS’s distinctive Broader and Bolder approach to education.

The exhibition featured a variety of scientific models including models of stomata, a pinhole camera, a water wall, a waste management system and a greenhouse. Through these projects, students demonstrated their understanding of scientific principles, practical problem-solving skills and awareness of environmental conservation. Their work showed how classroom concepts can be applied to everyday situations.

All these performances added warmth to the occasion while giving students an opportunity to express their talents and appreciate India’s rich cultural heritage.

CMS Broader and Bolder Education in Action

The enthusiastic participation of students reflected the importance of balancing academic learning with cultural awareness, artistic expression and moral values.

The inauguration of the Harmony Building, Robotics Lab and Chemistry Lab reflects CMS Asharfabad’s continued efforts to make education more practical, creative and world-class.

By bringing together science, technology, sports, music, dance and project-based learning, the school aims to help every child discover their potential and grow into a confident, capable and responsible individual.
