City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus I once again became a hub of global dialogue as CMSMUN 2025 unfolded on April 25–26, 2025. This two-day celebration of diplomacy, debate, and cultural exchange brought together nearly 300 bright young delegates from prestigious schools. Together, they explored global challenges and designed solutions for a better world.
Opening Ceremony: Inspiring a Global Vision
The event began with great enthusiasm in the school auditorium. Chief Guest, Justice Mrs. Babita Rani, District & Sessions Judge, Lucknow, inaugurated CMSMUN 2025 by lighting the ceremonial lamp. In her keynote address, Justice Babita Rani highlighted the importance of a global perspective among youth. She added that such platforms help young people understand current affairs and diplomacy while improving problem-solving skills.
Meanwhile, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, Manager of CMS, welcomed all dignitaries and delegates warmly. She emphasized that the MUN experience shapes responsible global citizens who will one day influence international policy. Her inspiring words set the tone for two days of debates, discussions, and visionary thinking.
Committees in Action: Voices That Matter
After the formalities, delegates entered ten vibrant committees, including:

In the words of a first-time participant: “CMSMUN has changed how I see the world. I came to learn diplomacy, but I’m leaving with friendships, confidence, and the belief that I can make a difference.”
