“Education is the passport for the future for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today’’ -Malcolm X
Our School, CMS Aliganj-1, has raised and nurtured some of the best men and women who have proved their mettle in the fields of politics, bureaucracy, medicine, academics, sports, art, and science in India and abroad. We provide a holistic education for the all-round development of a student. Maintaining the rich legacy of excellence, the school has once again produced remarkable achievements this year. Our results in the ISC and ICSE Examinations of 2024-25 have been spectacular.
In the ISC Board Examination, Twesha Garg and Vedika Vats brought laurels to our institution by scoring 99.75%. Mohammad Akbar secured 99.50%, while Srijan Yadav and Aryan Verma scored 99.25% each. Anshika Rani and Kushagra Gupta scored 99.00%, making us proud with their outstanding achievements.
In the ICSE Board Examination, Adya Chauhan scored 99.60%, Anshika Priyadarshani and Shreyansh Verma secured 99.20%, each earning themselves a position among the national toppers.
Other than providing excellence in academics, we train students in different sports and co-curricular activities. Summer Camp is held during the summer vacation where children get trained in multiple sports, music, and fine arts by trained professionals. Every alternate year, we organize Celesta, an international cultural fiesta, to foster intercultural interaction. In addition, Model United Nations (MUN) is organized every year to enhance students’ debating skills, leadership qualities, and global awareness, giving them a platform to engage in discussions on international issues.
Alfred Lord Tennyson has said, “The old order changeth, yielding place to new. And God fulfills himself in many ways.” To keep our students abreast with technological advancements in the ever-changing society, we have implemented new teaching pedagogies to equip them with the 6Cs of Education — critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, character, and citizenship. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Experiential Learning Projects (ELPs), and collaborative learning are incorporated into our curriculum to foster our students’ creativity and critical thinking skills. We nurture students to become independent learners and prepare them to face real-life challenges. We provide ample opportunities to our students so that they become the best versions of themselves. We aim to train children to have a global perspective with an Indian ethos.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Cambridge Curriculum has now been upgraded to Class 9 in this session. In addition, we have initiated the Design & Technology Lab and the Makers Space Labs to promote hands-on learning and innovation.
In the regular ICSE Board stream, a brand-new Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab for Class 9 has been introduced, providing students with cutting-edge skills and exposure to emerging technologies.
I would like to thank our school management for their unflinching support and guidance in all our endeavors. We are continuously marching ahead with great zeal and vigor to achieve greater heights of excellence and reach new milestones of success with every passing year.
Mia Hamm has rightly said, “Celebrate what you have accomplished but raise the bar a little higher each time you succeed.”
