Our School, CMS Aliganj-1, has raised and nurtured some of the best men and women who have proved their mettle in the fields of politics, bureaucracy, medicine, academics, sports, art, and science in India and abroad. We provide a holistic education for the all-round development of a student. This year, twenty-five students were selected for admission to renowned universities worldwide. Our results in the ISC and ICSE Examinations of 2022 have been spectacular. In the ISC Board Examination, Simran Singh brought laurels to our institution by standing first on the National merit list and scoring 99.75%. Agrima Singh, Prakhar Saxena, and Shubhanshu Mishra scored 99.0 percent securing the 4th position nationally. In ICSE, Amogh Anant scored 99.40 and stood 3rd on the National Merit List. Agrim Singh and Devanshi Joshi secured the 5th position nationally by scoring 99%.
Other than providing excellence in Academics, we train students in different sports and co-curricular activities. Summer Camp is held during the Summer Vacation where children get trained in multiple sports, music, and fine arts by trained professionals. Every alternate year, we organize Celesta, an international cultural fiesta, to foster intercultural interaction.
Alfred Lord Tennyson has said ‘‘The old order changeth, yielding place to new. And God fulfills himself in many ways’’. To keep our students abreast with the technological advancement in the ever-changing society, we have implemented new teaching pedagogies to equip them with the 6Cs of Education i.e. critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity, character, and citizenship. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Experiential Learning Projects (ELPs), and collaborative learning are incorporated into our curriculum to foster our students’ creativity and critical thinking skills. We nurture students to become independent learners and prepare them to face real-life challenges. We provide ample opportunities to our students so that they become the best versions of themselves. We aim to train children to have a Global perspective with an Indian ethos.
It gives me great pleasure to announce that we have introduced the Cambridge Curriculum for classes 1 to 7 in this session. Cambridge (IGCSE)Board is highly recognized in India and abroad and has an international curriculum, the content of which is practical and application based. It dissuades students from rote learning and encourages them to develop logical thinking and an analytical approach. It aims to make students Global Citizens who are future-ready.
